This is a perfect safari itinerary for exploring the best of Tanzania’s northern circuit, with a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Get to visit Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater, the World’s 7th Wonder
Day 1.
Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after an early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is a Silaley swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home to tree-climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. After the adventure of the day, you will head to Lake Manyara overnight.

Day 2
Manyara to Serengeti National Park.
This day starts with early breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head to the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River which provides Water for the Animals. You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of the predators. You might have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion

Day 3.
Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun sets fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively, you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert. After breakfast, you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open-roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 4.
Serengeti to Ngoro Ngoro
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did on day two. This drive allows you to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.

Day 5.
Ngorongoro Crater
Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking the game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes), hippos, cheetahs, antelopes and spotted hyenas. Also in the crater, you can see different species of birds. Other games such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. After the excitement of the day, you will drive back to Arusha.
