The Northern Circuit Route is the longest and one of the most scenic routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is considered the most successful route in terms of summit success rate because of its extended itinerary, which allows for better acclimatization.

Day 1: Moshi to Londorossi Gate and trek to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,650m)

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1 (3,550m)

Day 3: Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2 (3,840m)

Day 4: Shira Camp 2 to Moir Hut (4,200m)

Day 5: Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp (4,020m)

Day 6: Buffalo Camp to Third Cave Camp (3,870m)

Day 7: Third Cave to School Hut (4,800m)

Day 8: Summit to Uhuru Peak and descend to Mweka Camp

Day 9: Mweka Camp to Moshi
